Not a lot to say today, except that you should watch these cute videos.
Grandma Peg taught Maggie the word “crow” and the appropriate noise to go along with it. Here, Maggie responds to Rebecca & Paul’s beautiful wedding invitation featuring black silhouettes of birds. Mama & Daddy are pretty good at making crow noises too, it seems.
Somehow, watching Maggie eat these currants was just so cute. She really wanted to pluck them off the stem herself, so I figured - hey, less work for me. She has started accompanying her sign for “more” with a word - “Mo’” - and she has definitely learned “please” and really enjoys the experience of the exchange, it seems. We often get a “Pwee” or “Lees” along with the sign, but not today. She looks so tired because she declined her nap again today - makes for a pretty silly little girl.

Haven’t named this little one yet, but she’s pretty great so far! Turns out she is also rare; orange kitties are almost always male.

7 months old, she was on the losing end of a fight with a dog and had lots of repair & healing. Despite that, she shows no fear and is very playful & social with kitties & humans alike!
Really, it was just a research mission. Somehow you always come home with a cat when you don’t mean to.
All orange kitties welcome at our house, it seems!
